DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION / DECLARATION OF CONSENT

1. Purpose and Data Collecting Authority
The “transCampus Science to Business” is the promotional instrument of the transCampus providing incentives for entrepreneurial activities. The personal data to be collected are necessary in order to make full use of:
a) the information services provided by the “transCampus Science to Business”
b) providing financial support via an annually granted seed funding after a peer view review process.

2. Data Processing
Those who are interested in further information about the “transCampus Science to Business” or would like to submit proposals for seed funding, can send an e-mail or when submitting a proposal using the contact form available under https://transcelerator.eu/project-funding/#proposal. With this form the following data is collected:

– Name, Title*
– E-mail Address*
– Phone*
– Business Address*
– Message*/submitted Project*

These data are collected based on §14 Sächsisches Hochschulfreiheitsgesetz (SächsHSFG) on a voluntary basis. The transmission of the entered data occurs via e-mail to the electronic mailbox info@transcelerator.eu.

Alternatively, further information about the “transCampus Science to Business” can be requested via phone or e-mail in which the same data is collected and processed. Staff members of the “transCampus Science to Business” have exclusive access to these data. All staff members are obliged to maintain secrecy.

3. Voluntariness and Withdrawal of Consent
The request for information or proposal application to the “transCampus Science to Business” at TUD as well as the involved processing of personal data (collection, storage, modification, use) is voluntary. The consent can be withdrawn at any moment without giving reasons.
If the consent concerning the data specified under point 2 is not granted or revoked, the “transCampus Science to Business” information service is not or only partially available. In case the consent is revoked, all personal data the revocation refers to will be cancelled according to data protection requirements.
I am aware that I may demand immediate deletion of my personal data.

4. Data Transfer
Unless otherwise provided by law or if you have given your express consent in individual cases, no personal data specified under point 2. will be transmitted to third parties.

5. Storage Period
The data specified under point 2. will be electronically deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the processing of the request for information or the consent regarding the respective data has been withdrawn.

6. Right to Information
I am aware that I may at any time request information about the data processed concerning my person as well as the possible recipients of this data to whom it has been transferred and that I am entitled to a reply within one month of the responsible party for data processing receiving my request for information.

7. Data Protection Officer and Supervisory Authority for Data Protection
I am aware that I may contact the Data Protection Officer of TU Dresden and the responsible supervisory authority for data protection at any time.

8. Legal basis
The legal basis for this is Section §6 para.1 lit. f GDPR.

Rights of individuals concerned

  • You have the right to obtain information from TU Dresden about the data stored about your person and/or to have incorrectly stored data corrected.
  • You have the right to deletion or limitation of the processing and/or a right to object to the processing.
